This non-certification course is approximately one full business day in length and is designed to help you quickly bootstrap your Team into a Hyper-Productive implementation of Scrum. We begin with some perspective on why Agile, covering why Waterfall was failing and how Agile evolved naturally from the best practices of highly successful Teams across a range of industries. We then quickly move into Twelve Points of Scrum, discussing each and how the weave together to create a brand new ecosystem of continuous improvement, with ample time alotted for discussions and Q&A.
This non-certification course is approximately four hours in duration and is based on the paper Scrum Metrics for Hyper Productive Teams: How They Fly like Fighter Aircraft, co-authored by Dr. Jeff Sutherland and Scott Downey and presented at Agile 2010 in Orlando, Florida. It is designed to be sure that you have the necessary behaviors of highly successful Teams during Estimation and Metrics collection, guarantees a very light touch on the Delivery Team themselves and helps both Scrum Masters and consumers of Scrum Metrics understand how to use and interpret Team performance data.
ScrumMaster Boot Camp – We are delighted to help our clients meet specific or unusual needs that may not be adequately addressed by our standard course offerings. Product Owner Boot Camp – This non-certification course is approximately one full business day in duration and helps Product Owners understand the essential interactions, empowerments and responsibilities of this new role. Beginning with a comparison/contrast with traditional Product Management, we thoroughly explore the topics of User Stories, Agile Specs, Product Backlog population and management, techniques for establishing a Business Value estimate and how to build realistic Roadmaps based on concrete knowledge about your Team.
